Leslie M. Walker,
Executive Director, Sixers Youth Foundation

Leslie M. Walker serves as the Executive Director of the Sixers Youth Foundation, a nonprofit extension of the Philadelphia 76ers and a regional philanthropy focused on youth development across the Delaware Valley. 

Prior to that role, Leslie served as the Interim Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia where she managed and directed the operations of the Library, composed of 54 library branches, while providing leadership to a staff of over 750 employees. Walker began her role at the Library in 2017 as the Chief of Staff. 

Walker has over 20 years of experience working on behalf of vulnerable children and families in the Philadelphia region with a concentration in early childhood education, program development, implementation, and evaluation. She serves on several boards and advisory committees of community-focused organizations and is a coach and mentor as well.

Walker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Rutgers Camden College of Arts and Sciences and a Master of Science in Training and Organizational Development from Saint Joseph’s University.
