2024 PSA Impact Awards
Our 2024 Impact Awards ceremony celebrated the over 1,000 students and faculty from across the city who worked with their schools to #MakeABetterPhilly! Each school group was recognized for their exceptional service work, and 14 Impact Award recipients were announced, receiving prizes totaling over $140,000!

The Safer Philly Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards
These awards celebrated stand-out projects that focused on improving the city's safety through violence prevention, awareness initiatives, community, and youth-centric programs.
The Multicultural Academy Charter School: Revitalizing Nicetown (1st Place: $20,000)
Sophia Academy: Revitalizing Fisher Park Bandstand (2nd Place: $5,000)
South Philadelphia High School: For the Love of South Philly (3rd Place: $1,000)
The Legacy Builder Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards
These awards honor projects that showcase sustainability for years to come. These projects are easily transferred and demonstrate a clear model.
Imhotep Institute Charter School: Project Heshima (1st Place: $20,000)
Abraham Lincoln High School: Lincoln C.A.R.E.S. (2nd Place: $5,000)
Lankenau Environmental Science HS: Biodiversity & Environmental Justice (3rd Place: $1,000)
The Young Entrepreneurs Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards
These awards were designated for the innovators. Looking specifically at the most creative project ideas that stepped outside the box and shaped the future of community service with their visionary idea.
Kensington Health Sciences Academy: DreamEscape Library (1st Place: $20,000)
Boys' Latin of Philadelphia High School: Cardiac Helpers of Philadelphia (2nd Place: $5,000)
Vocatio Career Prep High School: Senior Love (3rd Place: $1,000)
The People’s Choice Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards
The winners of these awards were selected by the public via vote. Votes were validated through email authentication, and only verified votes were counted.
Central High School: Revitalizing with Green (1st Place: $20,000)
West Catholic Preparatory HS: WC Burrs Sow Seeds of Hope and Love (2nd Place: $5,000)
George Washington High School: Let’s Build Bridges (3rd Place: $1,000)
The Community Partner Award: $20,000
Kensington CAPA: The Beauty of Time
This award was given to the school that went above and beyond to make connections community-wide to maximize their project impact while uniting and engaging community members.
The Judges’ Choice Award: $20,000
Sankofa Freedom Academy: Philly Literacy Mentor Project
Looking at the project’s creativity, impact, reach, and more, this award was presented to the project the judges considered the total package.
