Why is service important to you?

It’s important to me because I really do believe it takes a village to be human. I have been building that village/community and want to continue building it and bringing individuals together, especially in Philly. I also have noticed that a lot of people deeply struggle with asking for help and opening up about their mental health. Having a trusted community to go to in times of need (and in general) is extremely important, and I want more people to know that there are safe spaces right here in Philadelphia.

What do you love about Philly?

THE PEOPLE! Philly has the best people I have ever met. From going out to have fun to just walking outside to get your Amazon packages, there will be someone there to talk to, and the conversation is warm and intriguing. It’s usually a great time when Philly people come together. It’s very easy to talk to people and make them a part of your community!
