As the founder of the Caris Sports Foundation, Raquel "Roxi" McNabb established the organization in 2019 with a mission to provide financial assistance to young athletes in Arizona, enabling them to participate in recreational and competitive sports. Since its establishment, the Caris Sports Foundation has supported over 500 student-athletes ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade. McNabb's personal experience and the profound impact sports had on her own upbringing served as the driving force behind the creation of this foundation.

Prior to establishing the Caris Sports Foundation, McNabb worked closely with her husband for two decades through the Donovan McNabb Fund (DMF), which actively supports national and local charities. The DMF has provided substantial support to organizations such as the American Diabetes Association, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Syracuse University, among others. Operating in various communities where the McNabb family has resided, including Chicago, Philadelphia, Syracuse, Washington, DC, and Arizona, the DMF has become an integral part of their philanthropic endeavors.

Roxi's personal connection to sports traces back to her notable college career, during which she excelled as the point guard for the Syracuse women's basketball team. Her exceptional performance earned her the title of Most Valuable Player twice, Athlete of the Year in 1997, and she was named to the Big East academic all-star team three times, including being honored as the Big East Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1998.

McNabb completed her Bachelor of Science degree in education at Syracuse University, followed by the attainment of a Master of Public Administration degree from the esteemed Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in 1999. Additionally, she holds a Master of Education in Educational Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. McNabb actively contributes to the Syracuse University community, serving on the School of Education Advisory Board and as a member of the university's Board of Trustees. Moreover, she is involved with the I Gotcha With Hugs Foundation, a foundation dedicated to empowering women and providing support to organizations combating domestic abuse.

Apart from her remarkable athletic accomplishments, Roxi McNabb fully embraces her roles as a wife, mother, public figure, philanthropist, coach, and advocate for higher education. Although Roxi resides in Arizona with her husband Donovan and their four children, Alexis, Sariah, Donovan Jr., and Devin, the McNabbs maintain deep connections to the Philadelphia community.
